Backpackers are found in abundance in Australia, so casual dressing is the best way to go while visiting Australia. Pack shorts, tank tops and a couple of your best swim suits and you’ll be good to go. You can explore Australia in these comfy clothes, no doubt, you can go to the Opera House wearing jeans and no one would bother giving a second look, but it also doesn’t hurt to dress up a little for some non-casual situations.

Here’s some advise on women's fashion online store essentials to pack for a trip to Australia

Clothing

As mentioned, most of your clothing items should consist of casual items like cotton t shirts, tank tops, short and jeans. Quick to dry shorts come in handy when visiting Australia since you’d be spending a lot of time at the beach. Tank tops are not just super comfortable and something you can wear to the beach, but also accessorise for a night out. Don’t forget to pack few party dresses or skirts too since many night clubs in Sydney and Melbourne have strict dress codes and often refuse entry if not dresses upto their standards.

If you plan to explore the amazing beaches of Australia, which are many, you’d probably need at least 3 or 4 swimsuits in your luggage. If not, you can always buy from the huge collection of pretty swimsuits available in women’s fashion online stores in Australia.

Australia usually has a warm climate so don’t forget your hats and sunglasses. The winter months are June to August, so if you’re travelling during these months, hoodies and light jackets will be an addition. However, if you hail from regions of North America or Northeast Asia, Australian winter will be warm enough for you.

Shoes

Flip flops (or popularly known as thongs in Australia) and sandals are a must. You simply cannot travel without them. Pack hiking shoes if you’re planning on exploring the reefs and creeks of this golden island. Heels are absolutely optional and should be packed only if you are keen on visiting the haughty clubs of Sydney or Melbourne to match your party dresses in Australia.

Other things to pack

You wouldn’t require toiletries as Australia has everything you need at home. A shoulder bag or satchel can come in handy to carry your sightseeing essentials. It is safe to carry your electronics - laptops and cameras to Australia as the hotels and hostels are pretty secured.  Carry a flashlight if your itinerary includes hiking or camping.
